Tokyo Tea Ceremony Experience
Join a casual Japanese tea ceremony in the heart of Tokyo and discover the beauty of matcha without the formality. Guided by a knowledgeable yet friendly host, you’ll learn how to whisk powdered green tea, taste freshly prepared matcha, and enjoy traditional Japanese sweets.
Unlike a strict ritual, this relaxed experience is designed for beginners and curious travelers who want to explore Japanese culture in an approachable way. While sitting comfortably, your host will explain the meaning behind each step — from pouring water to presenting the tea — before inviting you to prepare your own bowl of matcha and savor it at your own pace.
Feel free to ask questions, take photos, and immerse yourself in the philosophy of harmony, respect, and hospitality that surrounds the tea ceremony. Whether it’s your first trip to Japan or a return visit, this experience offers a unique way to slow down, connect with tradition, and create memories as rich as the taste of matcha itself.
